How To Keep Your Yoga Mats Clean
We recommend wiping down your mat before and after every in-studio workout. Wipe down your mat about once a week if you’re using it at home, depending how sweaty you get during your practice.
Keeping your mats clean is easy. Add a few drops of dish soap to some warm water, and use a cloth to wipe down your mat. Wipe off the soap with a clean, damp cloth and leave your mat to air dry.
Regular cleaning keeps your mat grippy and may help extend its life.
How To Add More To Your Yoga Routine
You can easily incorporate more equipment to your workout with resistance bands, small dumbbells and rollers. Use lightweight dumbbells for any press movement, and resistance bands to help deepen your stretches. After you’ve completed your workout, a foam roller or massage tool can be beneficial to help smooth out any knots or sore spots.
